01Health monitor connection redesign

Critical Bluetooth pairing and connectivity issues between the app and the device were blocking access to live oxygen data on this FDA-regulated pulse oximeter. I treated connection feedback as a safety-critical system — non-blocking status, a clear visual state model, and invisible auto-reconnection that reached into both the app and the device firmware — cutting device abandonment 42% and reconnection-related support tickets 50%.

02Clinical report portal & design system

The web portal where care specialists follow home-based device users and produce clinical reports. I restructured its information architecture, standardised the vocabulary, rebuilt the report workflow around a Verify-data pre-check, and built the web design system by adapting the mobile app's validated FDA / human-factors work — seven use-related hazards, each mapped to a concrete interface rule. Launched Sept 2026; early pilot signal is qualitative — fewer onboarding calls.
